Photography has always been my way of noticing the world, the quiet, fleeting moments, the gestures and glances that so often go unseen. I'm drawn to the in-between moments: the way someone reaches for a hand without thinking, the smile shared across a room, the details that become part of a story long after the day has passed. Over time, I realized photography wasn't simply about creating beautiful images. It was about preserving the feeling of a moment, allowing people to return to it years later and remember not just how it looked but how it felt.
Today, I approach every session, elopement and wedding with the same curiosity and attentiveness. I pay close attention to the moments unfolding naturally, the subtle interactions, the changing light and the details that make each story unique. Rather than directing every moment, I believe in creating space for genuine connection to exist and documenting it as it unfolds.
The photographs that matter most are rarely the perfectly posed ones. They're the images that hold a feeling, the ones that bring you back to a specific moment, a specific season of life and the people who shared it with you. My hope is that your experience feels just as meaningful as the photographs themselves, leaving you with images that feel authentic, meaningful and true to your story, not only today but years from now.

We had such an amazing experience and the photos are a dream!! Rosa did a fantastic job at capturing our wedding photos! We decided to have a very small intimate wedding, but pictures were important to both of us. Once we found Riu photography, we knew they were the perfect ones to capture our special day. Although we were running behind due to circumstances beyond our control, Rosa was so understanding, comforting, and helped us refocus on what is truly important. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! This was our first time getting pictures taken, but Rosa and her husband were kind and professional and made us feel relaxed, comfortable, more confident, and made our vision come to life. A bonus was that they spoke Spanish and were able to communicate with our families during the family session as well! Our families were so happy and also loved the pictures!
